Moonlight Door & Glass, LLC

Darris Allen is the owner with 36 years of experience in the door and hardware industry. He has started and sold businesses in New Mexico and Florida for over 3 decades and recently started his new organization, Moonlight Door & Glass, in 2013. He has been a member of the Door and Hardware Institute since 1978.

This company was named after a former business, Moonlight Door Inc., which Darris opened in 1995. He grew the company over eight years before selling it in 2003. Over this time Moonlight Door, Inc. became well known in the South Florida region for it's installation of commercial doors and hardware. It grew and still maintains a loyal following of contractors and end users.

Darris decided to use a similar name and logo to re-create Moonlight Door & Glass, LLC with many of the same resources and personnel. "Glass" was added to the name to reflect an important component of the company resulting from his focus on glass and glazing over the last 13 years. His mission is to develop a team and system that can exceed the amazing work the original Moonlight Door accomplished for its customers.  

The installation team for this company has been a part of the door and hardware business for decades and many have worked directly for Darris and with his management team since the beginning. Only the most professional and detail oriented installers have joined this hardworking organization. 

Valerie Allen, who worked as Office Manager for the original Moonlight Door, is now also an owner of the new company. She manages the legal and administrative workload so Darris can put his decades of knowledge to work directly in the field.

Darris Allen holds a General Contractor's license qualifying Moonlight Door & Glass, LLC in the state of Florida. Moonlight Door & Glass, LLC is insured to meet your job requirements with general liability, workers compensation and non-owned automobile insurance.
